Founding Families Program

We're looking for 50 founding families to build MathClue with us.

Free Plus or Pro access for 3 months. 50 spots only.

Why I built this

I'm a math graduate and a dad living in Vancouver. My daughter is in grade 9. She has been average at math for years — and we did everything the standard playbook says to do. Tutoring classes. Practice sheets. A notebook full of wrong answers that kept getting thicker.

The same mistakes kept showing up. Different worksheet, same error.

Last year I finally figured out why. We were measuring effort by volume — more problems, more classes, more pages. But we never stopped to ask: what kind of mistake is this, and why does she keep making it? Is it a missing concept? A skipped step? A calculation habit? The answer changes what you practice next.

Grinding more problems without knowing the cause is just accelerating in the wrong direction.

So I built MathClue. A student submits a wrong answer, the AI identifies the first wrong turn, diagnoses the likely cause, and opens a focused repair lesson for that exact gap. Parents get a weekly report that shows whether their child is making real progress — or just completing work.

This is not a problem-solver. Tools like PhotoMath already do that. MathClue is for after you have the answer wrong — to find out why, and fix it properly.

I'm looking for 50 founding families to use this with a real math struggle and tell me where it falls short.

FAQ

Questions about the program.

Is it really free?

Yes — no charge for 3 months. You will need to enter a credit card to activate the plan through our payment provider. Before the 3 months are up, you can downgrade to the free plan at any time to avoid being charged.

My child is doing fine in math — can we apply?

This program is for families with a real math struggle to work through. If your child does not have a specific recurring mistake, this is not the right fit.

What does "feedback 3 times" mean?

A short check-in once a month — 15 minutes or less. What is working, what is not, and what you wish were different.

What's the difference between Plus and Pro?

Plus covers one child with a repair lesson for every eligible check. Pro adds delayed review — checks whether the fix holds 7 days later — and covers up to 2 children with a shared check pool.

50 spots. Real math struggles only.

If your child has a specific recurring mistake and you want to understand why it keeps happening, this program is for you.
